In are lesson are group were allowed to shoot some of our own shots for the first time. We tried to shoot a variation of shots as we all wanted to experience the camera and how it works. The shots vary from Dutch- angle, medium Close up, panning and more. The first shot is of my face and shoulders. This is a medium close up as it shows both my face and part of my upper body ( Medium close up) Furthermore The medium close up shot is half way between the close up and a mid shot. This shot shows the face more clearly without getting uncomfortably close. Moreover there is a panning/ long shot of Skarlet and Ben as it shows the whole of the persons body, and it shows some of the setting behind as well. A long shot is really the same as a wide shot, when referring to a person, a long shot means that they take up most of the space in height. In other situations it means a wide shot of the whole screen, and also picking up other subjects in the environment. Furthermore we also took a Dutch angle of myself. A Dutch angle shot is when the camera is slanted to one side. This can be used for dramatic effect and helps us to portray unease, disorientation, frantic or desperate action.
